Sculpted bodies are often placed on plinths. A plinth is a neutral object which in this case contains nipples glued on to it in a random order. This lack of formality in a sense replicated the way in which the nipples had been placed on the body in the photographs. However, the plinth offers a sight of the actual latex nipples in the multiple with no other clues towards the body.  Although this afforded a question of gender I felt as though I wanted to place more stress on the politics of female gender and the next stage was to consider placing on the plinth a stereotypical item of female underwear, such as a bra. This still challenges an audience to consider the ownership of the nipples and therefore, although the bra does offer some clues the anonymity of the nipples, creates the level of visual and political tension I was aiming for.
